Terroir & Vines
The vines are planted onto sea and wind fine sands from the Camargue region. The warm and dry Mediterranean climate is tempered by a sea influence. A blend of Merlot (60%) and Grenache noir (40%).
Vinification & Ageing
The harvest is realized by night to keep the aromatic freshness of the grapes. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 15-18°C. We operate to a very short maceration resulting in a smooth tannic structure. The wine stays 3 months in stainless steel tanks.
A red wine with a light ruby colour typical from sand wines. The nose offers red berry (strawberry) aromas. The palate is fruity, light and smooth, it gives the impression of crunchiness from the grape.
Food & Wine Pairing
Serve at 16-17°C with deli meat, a grilled meat or a young cheese.
